Dans le cadre du festival Photo E(a)st, F Stop a invité Correia Photo à offrir une séance Pop Up de portraits ferrotypes (Tintype) personnalisés. L’événement s’est comblé dès l’annonce de l’événement!
Le samedi 12 avril 2025 était sa première fois à Moncton. Au courant de cette journée pleine de rendez-vous, près d’une quarantaine de personnes sont passez au studio d ‘Annie France Noël - au Centre culturel Aberdeen pour profiter de cette occasion spéciale.

As part of Photo E(a)st Festival, F Stop invited Correia Photo for a Pop-Up session of personalized tintype portraits. The event sold out soon after it was announced!
Saturday, April 12th, was her first time hosting a pop up in Moncton. It was a full day of sessions where close to forty people came through the doors at the Aberdeen cultural Centre to have their portraits done in Annie France Noël's beautiful studio.
Alanah Correia est photographe qui habite près d'E'se'katik (Lunenburg) Mi'kma'ki. Elle a passé la moitié de sa vie à explorer le médium photographique et à utiliser divers procédés et méthodes, tels que le Ferrotype, le Cyanotype, la pellicule 35 mm et le numérique. Travailler avec des méthodes analogiques a transformé sa façon d'appréhender le monde. Chaque photographie qu'elle crée est porteuse d'une profonde intention. Alanah a été influencée par ces procédés photographiques, et s’intéresse à servir sa communauté en offrant des images faites à la main. Son œuvre, qui sert de miroirs de la magie de chacune des personnes qu’elle photographie, est pour elle un profond honneur et privilège.
Alanah Correia is a photographer based just outside of E'se'katik (Lunenburg) Mi'kma'ki. Half of her life has been in courtship with her chosen medium of expression and all of the various processes and methods such as tintype, cyanotype, 35mm film, and digital. Working primarily with analog methods has changed her relationship with how she navigates this world. and each photograph she creates holds deep intention. Alanah has been shaped by these methods of creation, and being able to serve her community by offering hand-made images that act as mirrors for each person's magic is deep honour and privilege for her.
